These sweet things can be used anywhere!  They are 12" tall to the top of the shade (used a small appliance bulb for photos) or 8" to the top of the socket.  The ornate design makes us think Victorian but very much early 1900's.  The paint has a few chips and scrapes but just adds to the charm of these.  They have been rewired and the twist knob and old plug were used to keep the vintage look.  The ivory shades are trimmed in a metal fringe which gives a nice shine to them when lit.  You could change the gimp and fringe to suit your decor.
