Handpainted Vintage Tole Keepsake Box

Isn't this  wonderful?  Yes it is peely, chippy and has bent corners BUT it is still one of the most charming little boxes with it's crenelated, pie crimped edges.  No one left their name on it but they were skilled. The top does bow slightly but would think it can be bent back but we think it is perfect the way it is.  It is 5 1/2" long by 3 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
