French Silver Ladle

Fresh from the Paris flea market we present this lovely silver ladle for your holiday tables.  There is plenty of room to have initials added to the front or back, as is the European tradition, since both have the space.  This is a heft to it but we cannot find a makers mark on it.  There is a bit of roughness along the handle edge near where we suspect it rested on a punch bowl or terrine.  It is 12 1/2" overall and the bowl is 3 1/2" wide. A lovely gift to the newlyweds, too.
