Isn't this captivating?  The yellow buttercups along with the other wildflowers are skillfully done on a wooden artists palette.  It must have been the thing to paint on at the previous turn of the century!  This is the largest one (please see the daisies palette too) at 13" by 9 1/2".  These are hard to find and we get them wherever we spot one.  This one was from Brimfield, Mass.
