Brass Cat Knife Chatelaine

Leave it to those Victorians to create this wonderful cat in brass!  She was made for a lady and probably to hang on her chatelaine.  We don't know if it is English or French but she is most charming.This rare figural knife is 2" long and the blade is marked with what looks like a wrench.  if we can find out who that mark signifies we'll let you know!
